Casa De Sao Cristovao, an 18th-century farmhouse in Boticas, Trás-os-Montes, exudes charm with original wood floors and antique furniture. The warm welcome from the owners, Maria and José, made us feel like family. The tranquil setting next to the river and close to sports facilities was ideal for outdoor enthusiasts like us. The traditional regional dishes, like heifer meat cooked on firewood, offered a delightful culinary experience. The cozy bar, converted into a social area, added a special touch to our evenings. With free Wi-Fi, comfortable rooms, and activities like cycling and hiking, Casa De Sao Cristovao is a hidden gem for a peaceful retreat.
